G20 በሩሲያ እና በዩክሬን ጦርነት ላይ ስምምነት ላይ መድረስ አልቻለም

በህንድ ውስጥ በ G20 ስብሰባ ላይ የፋይናንስ ኃላፊዎች የዩክሬን ጦርነትን ለመግለጽ ስምምነት ላይ መድረስ አልቻሉም. ዩኤስ እና አጋሮቿ በG7 የተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት ውስጥ ሩሲያ በጎረቤቷ ላይ የፈጸመችው ወረራ ሩሲያን መውረሯን ከሩሲያ እና ከቻይና ልዑካን ጋር ተቃውሟቸውን ጠይቀዋል። ህንድ በጦርነቱ ላይ በአብዛኛው ገለልተኛ አቋም ስለያዘች አስተናጋጇ ህንድ በማንኛውም የመግባቢያ ቃል ውስጥ “ጦርነት” የሚለውን ቃል ላለመጠቀም ስብሰባውን እየገፋች ነው. የፈረንሳይ እና የጀርመን የገንዘብ ሚኒስትሮች በህዳር ወር በኢንዶኔዥያ ባሊ በተካሄደው የቡድን 20 የመሪዎች ጉባኤ ላይ የጋራ መግለጫ መሰጠት እንዳለበት ገልፀው ነገር ግን በመግለጫው ላይ የሚደረገው ድርድር ከባድ ነው እና መግባባት ላይ መድረስ አይቻልም። በምትኩ ህንድ የወንበር መግለጫ ማውጣቷ አይቀርም።

At the G20 meeting in India, finance chiefs have been unable to reach a consensus on describing the war in Ukraine. The US and its allies in the G7 group of nations have been adamant in demands that the communique squarely condemns Russia for the invasion of its neighbour, which has been opposed by the Russian and Chinese delegations. The host India is also pressing the meeting to avoid using the word “war” in any communique, as India has kept a largely neutral stance on the war. French and German finance ministers have stated that a joint statement agreed at a G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia in November should be followed, but negotiations over the communique are difficult and a consensus is unlikely. India is likely to issue a chair statement instead.
