The Ministry of Industry in Ethiopia is working to rebuild industries that were damaged or looted during the war in Tigray. They are communicating directly with investors, and preparing a new industry policy to help boost the domestic manufacturing industry. A national and steering committee led by the Deputy Prime Minister is in charge of the effort, and the Ministry has managed to substitute import items worth USD 907 million in the past six months. The Ministry also plans to increase export revenue to USD five billion this year.

የኢትዮጵያ የኢንዱስትሪ ሚኒስቴር በትግራይ ጦርነት የተበላሹ ወይም የተዘረፉ ኢንዱስትሪዎችን መልሶ ለመገንባት እየሰራ ነው። ከባለሀብቶች ጋር በቀጥታ እየተነጋገሩ ነው፣ እና የአገር ውስጥ የማኑፋክቸሪንግ ኢንዱስትሪን ለማሳደግ የሚረዳ አዲስ የኢንዱስትሪ ፖሊሲ በማዘጋጀት ላይ ናቸው። ጥረቱን የሚመራው ሀገር አቀፍና አስተባባሪ ኮሚቴ በምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ የሚመራ ሲሆን ሚኒስቴሩ ባለፉት 6 ወራት ውስጥ 907 ሚሊየን ዶላር የሚያወጡ ከውጭ የሚገቡ እቃዎችን መተካት ችሏል። ሚኒስቴሩ በዚህ አመት የኤክስፖርት ገቢን ወደ አምስት ቢሊዮን ዶላር ለማሳደግ አቅዷል።
