KEFI Gold and Copper PLC has reported that all lead contracting and equity investment parties have confirmed their intention to sign the financing plan to construct the Tulu Kapi gold mine in Ethiopia. All outstanding issues are expected to be addressed soon. Additionally, CEO Harry Adams has reported that the gold projects in Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia have been struggling with various delays, but they are now at an “inflection point” and the first project, Jibal Qutman Gold, is expected to start construction around the end of 2023. The second project, Hawiah CopperGold, is expected to start construction after production has commenced at Tulu Kapi and Jibal Qutman.
