Prime Minister Abiy of Ethiopia discussed the country’s vulnerability to climate change and the need to generate innovative responses. The country has developed a 2050 strategy to make the economy more sustainable and has launched the Green Legacy Initiative to plant 25 billion seedlings and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The TenYear Development Plan prioritizes agriculture, manufacturing, mining, tourism, and ICT and is underpinned by sustainable growth principles. Ethiopia is committed to creating a climate resilient and green future for generations to come.

የኢትዮጵያ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር አብይ አገሪቷን ለአየር ንብረት ለውጥ ተጋላጭነት እና አዳዲስ ምላሾችን መፍጠር እንደሚገባ ተወያይተዋል። ሀገሪቱ በ2050 ኢኮኖሚውን ዘላቂ ለማድረግ ስትራቴጂ ነድፋ 25 ቢሊየን ችግኞችን ለመትከል እና የካርቦን ዳይኦክሳይድ ልቀትን ለመቀነስ አረንጓዴ ሌጋሲ ኢኒሼቲቭ ጀምራለች። የአስር ዓመቱ የልማት እቅድ ለግብርና፣ ለማኑፋክቸሪንግ፣ ለማእድን፣ ለቱሪዝም እና ለአይሲቲ ቅድሚያ ይሰጣል እና በዘላቂ የእድገት መርሆዎች የተደገፈ ነው። ኢትዮጵያ ለመጪው ትውልድ ለአየር ንብረት ለውጥ የማይበገር አረንጓዴ ለመፍጠር ቆርጣለች።
