MailAmericas and Ethiopian Airlines Group have partnered to expand eCommerce logistics services into Africa and other parts of the world. Ethiopian Airlines will gain access to MailAmerica’s bilateral agreements and private networks, and will construct an eCommerce center in Addis Ababa with a capacity of 150,000 tons. As the passenger network is restored, more belly capacity will return, but air cargo will remain important. Cathay Pacific Cargo is relaunching its brand, improving its cold chain offerings, expanding its online booking capabilities, and continuing its digital transformation. They are also focused on increasing market share in the Greater Bay Area, improving customer solutions and service excellence, and restoring their network to 80% of preCOVID capacity by the end of 2021.
