Ethiopian Airlines announced that as of February 6, 2023, its flights to Chinese cities will increase, ultimately returning to preCOVID19 levels on March 1, 2023. The airline will operate daily flights to Beijing and Shanghai, ten weekly flights to Guangzhou, and four weekly flights to Chengdu. Additionally, Ethiopian is also operating freighter flights to various cities in China. The increase in the number of flights will help revive the trade, investment, and cultural cooperation between Africa and China.

የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ እ.ኤ.አ. ከየካቲት 6 ቀን 2023 ወደ ቻይና ከተሞች የሚያደርገው በረራ እንደሚጨምርና በመጨረሻም ወደ ቅድመ ኮቪድ19 ደረጃ በመጋቢት 1 ቀን 2023 እንደሚመለስ አስታውቋል። አየር መንገዱ በየቀኑ ወደ ቤጂንግ እና ሻንጋይ፣ አስር ሳምንታዊ በረራዎች ወደ ጓንግዙ እና በየሳምንቱ አራት በረራዎችን እንደሚያደርግ አስታውቋል። ወደ ቼንግዱ የሚደረጉ በረራዎች። በተጨማሪም የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ወደ ተለያዩ የቻይና ከተሞች የጭነት በረራዎችን እያደረገ ነው። የበረራ ቁጥር መጨመር በአፍሪካ እና በቻይና መካከል ያለውን የንግድ፣ የኢንቨስትመንት እና የባህል ትብብር ለማነቃቃት ይረዳል።
