Ethiopian Army has purchased 32 Chinesemade SH15 (PCL181) selfpropelled howitzers for the Tigrayan conflict. This artillery system is highly mobile and can self-deploy over long distances, and is capable of direct and indirect firing with a range of up to 53 km. Souring relations between Khartoum, Cairo, and Addis Ababa have been a source of potential conflict due to a disputed border region. Morocco has sent tanks to Ukraine to enhance its counteroffensive against Russian forces and Germany is still withholding its Leopard 2 main battle tanks.
