የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ግንቦት 16 ቀን 2020 በአዲስ አበባ እና በአትላንታ አሜሪካ መካከል የአራት ጊዜ ሳምንታዊ በረራ ሊጀምር መሆኑን አስታወቀ።ይህ አየር መንገዱ በሰሜን አሜሪካ ስድስተኛው መግቢያ ነው። አዲሱ አገልግሎት የሁለቱን ክልሎች ኢንቨስትመንት፣ ቱሪዝም፣ ዲፕሎማሲያዊ እና ማህበራዊ ኢኮኖሚያዊ ትስስር ያሳድጋል። የአትላንታ ከንቲባ አንድሬ ዲከንስ በሁለቱ ከተሞች መካከል የተፈጠረውን አዲስ ግንኙነት እና ሃርትፊልድ ጃክሰን አትላንታ አለም አቀፍ ኤርፖርት ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ ባላም ብሄዳሪ እንዳሉት ከኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ጋር የተጀመረው አዲስ ትብብር የኤርፖርቱን ግንኙነት እና የመንገደኞች ተደራሽነት ያሰፋል። ይህ የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ በአሜሪካ አምስተኛ የመንገደኞች መዳረሻ ይሆናል።

Ethiopian Airlines announced that they are set to commence a four times weekly flight between Addis Ababa and Atlanta, US on May 16, 2023. This is the sixth gateway in North America for the airline. The new service will boost investment, tourism, diplomatic, and socioeconomic bonds between the two regions. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens welcomed the new connection between the two cities and Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport General Manager Balram Bheodari said the new partnership with Ethiopian Airlines expands the airport’s connectivity and access for passengers. This will be Ethiopian Airlines’ fifth passenger destination in the US.
