K.K.Theshantha Kumarasiri has assumed duties as the Ambassadordesignate of Sri Lanka to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. He noted Sri Lanka’s renewed focus on expanding its relations with African countries, and Ethiopia’s important role as the headquarters of the African Union. Kumarasiri has 20 years of experience in the Sri Lanka Foreign Service, and is a graduate of the University of Kelaniya with a Masters in Human Rights & Democratization from the University of Colombo.
