“ረሀብን አሳልፌያለሁ፣ ከጦርነት ተርፌያለሁ፣ በባዶ እግሬ ኳስ ተጫውቻለሁ፣ ትምህርት አልተማርኩም እና ብዙ ነገራቶች አልፌያለሁ ግን ዛሬ ከእግርኳስ ገንዘብ አገኛለሁ ህዝቦቼንም መርዳት እችላለሁ። ትምህርት ቤቶችን ሆስፒታሎችን ገንብቻለሁ፣ ደሀ ለሆኑት ልብስ፣ ጫማ፣ ምግብ አቀርባለሁ። በተጨማሪም በጣም ደሀ ለሆኑ የሴኔጋል ማህበረሰብ በወር 70 ዩሮ እሰጣለሁ። የቅንጦት መኪና፣ የተንጣለለ ቪላ ቤት፣ መጓጓዣ፣ የግል አውሮፕላን አልፈልግም። ከዛ ይልቅ ህይወት ከሰጠኝ ነገር ህዝቦቼ ማግኘት አለባቸው።”

“I went through hunger, I survived war, I played football barefoot, I didn’t study and I went through many things but today I earn money from football and I can help my people. I built schools, hospitals, I provide clothes, shoes, food to the poor. Also, 70 euros per month to the very poor Senegalese community. I give. I don’t want a luxury car, a sprawling villa, transportation, a private jet. Instead, my people should get what life has given me.”
